Missing Ya'll & UCSI Uni

BIG HI TO ALL OF YOU! (WAVES) I bet I lost all my readers, being such a lazy blogger. lmao

I just re-read every single posts of my blog. Took me just awhile since I don't blog much :)

But damn, the memories :') I'm missing all the people that I've lost touch with. Now, everyone is busy with college/work and their own lives, so hard to catch up w every single one! Through facebook, I'm glad to know that all of you are well. Good luck in life yea, people! <3

As for me, I've been having my holidays since SPM's over(14th Dec 10') till few days ago when I started my university's orientation days. So, it has been 4 months plus that I've been hanging/wandering around. Weirdly, time passes so quickly. Now, I'm enrolled in UCSI University as a student for Foundation in Music. Yeah, to those that I've told about the audition, I've passed it with:
Major Instrument: Admitted into SF181 Major Instrument 1 (piano)
Music Theory: Admitted into SF102 Music Theory Rudiments 2 (gladly to skip 1, even I've made lotsa annoying mistakes for the test. heh)
Practical Test: SF132 Practical Skills 2 (gladly to skip 1 too, everything was perfect[sight reading, open scores reading, cadences] except for clapping rhythms and singing intervals) This means that I need to work super hard on rhythms and singing!

For Major Instrument, everyone is compulsory to take 1. On orientation day itself, we were needed to decide on our course selection. Initially, I want to learn up french horn/harp as my minor instrument, but the university do not have tutors for those instruments. I hesitated while telling my lecturer that I'm taking electric guitar as minor. After deep thinking and all, at home, I'm certain that I would not want to stuck with choir for the rest of my 4 years studying there. I MUST get into the orchestra group. I emailed to tell that I'm changing my minor to clarinet(a woodwind instrument). Got lectured by the lecturer that I should never change my decision for my minor as it will be troublesome but she allowed me for changes this time as I'm a freshman, haha.

As for this semester, I'll be taking 8 subjects:
Major Instrument 1 (piano)
Minor Instrument 1 (drums)
Minor Instrument 1 (clarinet)
Practical Skills 2
Music Theory Rudiments 2
Musicianship 1
Choir 1
Malaysian Studies

A total of 20 credit hours for this sem. I will definitely push myself to the limits, maybe exceeding my limits for great results. I'm thankful for my mother for still letting me to study music even though she thinks it's ridiculous(she wants me to study nutrition, you see). I'll prove her wrong that I could have a career with it and will excel and succeed in life :)

Okay, I would like to tell you about my university(lemme brag a bit! :D ) UCSI University.

They've few campuses around Malaysia-Cheras (there's 2), Terengganu, Sarawak.

For all I know, they've a swimming pool, gym, badminton/basketball/futsal court, table tennis room, dance studios, jamming studios, labs and everything. They've also a shop selling all kinda UCSI souvenirs, eg. UCSI mugs, UCSI pens, UCSI books, stuff like that. I even have a UCSI thumbdrive and a UCSI bottle. LMAO. There's also a maxis booth at the lobby, selling simcards and top-ups(awesome for me!) & an Apple shop, selling Apple's stuff.

One thing I don't like about UCSI, is that the working hour for the staffs starts only at 9am and I always reach there at 7am, needing to wait for an hour plus to get my number to make payment and such. Haha, I know that 9am is a normal working hour(I would drag to get up from bed, remembering myself working at tgv at 9am too), but come onnn, it's a university, shouldn't the staffs there be early or at least have a 24/7 robot to settle payments and students' questions? hehee

There's also not many clubs in UCSI. The ones I'm interested in joining is the Dodgeball Club(Devil's Dukes), Social Sciences & Liberal Arts Association & the sports club. Might only join during the next semester(August), as I wanna check my schedules and adapt to university first, in the mean time, waiting for Cheng Lu to join the September intake! lol

Oh yah, my timetable is crazy, seriously. I have 8 hours break in between for Monday and Wednesday. 6 hours break in between for Tuesday. Thursday and Friday, I'm ending early though :) So, I wonder what am I gonna do for 8 hours, maybe can go for a swim or something!

Kayy, signing off. I'll get a uni shot when I start class later.

Till next post.

Facts :')

Kissing is healthy. Bananas are good for cramps. Chicken soup actually makes you feel better. Its true. Guys insult you if they like you. Having someone rub your tummy when it hurts actually helps it. 89% of guys would want girls to make the first move. Girls love it when guys hug them from behind around the waist. Girls love it when guys let them wear their hoodie or jacket. Guys think it’s cute when you mess up. A true friend will never judge you. There is only one guy who is worth your tears. If you have a dream about someone, then that person went to sleep thinking about you. More guys than girls will read this.

Year 2011

I know I'm kinda late for this post but better late than never right?

Year 2011, a lot of changes from year 2010, some are better, some are just not good, but we still gotta move on with life.

So, I'm single again but not available because I don't wanna get involved in any kinds of relationships at this moment/this year. Don't get me wrong, the previous relationship was great, having someone to care for me and to care for, someone who can discuss all kinds of craps with me, understanding and loving with a bit of temper. He still cares for me now, sometimes, but its different now. I need to get used to it, no matter what. (sigh) It has been 5 months, so what? I'm a sentimental person.

High school have ended. Never missed it, I've no idea why, maybe cause I never want to think of it in case I'll get school sick or maybe I just don't? The teachers there were nice but I was such a badass, fooling in class in the last year of school, I feel embarrassing now. Friends, I still meet them often, its either having lunch break w the college friends or going out w the waiting-to-go-college friends :)

License. I've been waiting for almost 3 weeks for my L license. My instructor's car broke down and its at the workshop now and she's having cny holidays w her family. Goshh, my other friends from other centre already gotten theirs and we went for amali on the same day! Patience patience.

Job. Himalaya kept me waiting for 2 weeks for confirmation and in the end they told me its full -.- I missed the Baskin Robin's interview and now waiting for House of Leather's call when the manager is back from cny hol. Oh well, so I'm pretty free now at home. Karen and Jin Wei is selling samsung cameras, Nazrin & Afiq is working at Swensens, Ying Chien at City Chain, Weng Kiat at Diamondz, so...only Sze Jin and I have no job.

College. I'm going for diploma in music at Malaysian Institute of Arts. Can't wait to start my class. I will major in classical piano, and maybe, I will pick up the harp. Strings instruments are difficult to learn, my guitar teacher says but I'll give it a shot cause I'm really fascinated by them. The pipe organ is most beautiful loud thing ever. Anyway, idk if I could call this a college or an institute? Okay, this institute is situated at setapak, taman melawati to be exact, so I've to find my transport over. LRT stops at taman melati, maybe I've to catch a bus from there. I'll be studying here for 3 years and 1 year oversea(most probably UK's wolverhampton uni or I'll do more research again) for degree in music. If successful, I would want to further music studies in master and phD.

Besides that, I've to get my body toned up. Stretch marks at the thigh has to go off! This means, gym, workout, and creams! Wait till I start the driving lesson, I'll ask my instructor to send me to parade straight after driving lesson then, celebrity fitness! Jeremy shall be my gym partner but I bet he'll be freaking lazy since he's at college already.

Wishlist once I get my salary:

Toshiba Portege R500. Lightest laptop!

Motorola flipout phone. Android 2.1

Shimmel Pegasus Grand Piano. or an ordinary grand piano.

Lotsa lotsa Beethoven's pieces to play.

That's for today. I'm not sure when will I blog again lol. btw happy cny, everyone!

:'|

Girl: Slow down, I'm scared.

Boy: No this is fun.

Girl: No its not. Please, its too scary.

Boy: Then tell me you love me.

Girl: Fine, I love you. Now slow down!

Boy: Now give me a hug.

Girl: *gives boy hug*

Boy: Can you take my helmet off and put it on yourself? It's bugging me.

Girl: Alright, now slow down.

Boy: I love you, babe.

Girl: I love you too. Just slow down, PLEASE!

(In the paper the next day)
A motorcycle had crashed into a building because of a brake failure. 2 people were on it, but only 1 had survived. The truth was that halfway down the road, the guy realized that his brakes broke, but he didn't want to let the girl know. Instead, he had her say she loved him and felt her hug 1 last time, then he had her wear his helmet so that she would live even though it meant that he would die.

*Reblog if you love anyone this much.

2010. :)

omg, I accidentally posted this post at the Sigma blog, just deleted tho :) heh
BY THE WAY,
Hey guys, I know I've not been updating my blog for like.....months. Sorry for being inactive as I'm really busy and lazy. Lol. I know, the last post was umm..last year? Well, I'm just about to recall stuff of last year-2009.

2009,
I got into science stream (for the sake of dissecting a frog, and I did, on a mice)
I got into 4 Delta and changed to 4 Sigma, without regrets.
I found a bunch of vainpots- Poh Ming & Daphney, and became good friends :)
I still do not know how to swim.
I ran through the stressful part of Leo and ran for election for 2nd vice-president.
I went for Leo forum which was a total bore to me, as a first-timer. (the seniors said it was different)
I get to know more lame & nice people, from Leo-Guo Yao, Fion, Chong Sheng, Linda, Justin, Rui Wei, Kar Yern, and more.
I organized my first joint project with PJI, and Taylors leos. (its a great experience)
I got myself into online shopping & I still think its darn worth it.
I ran for the merdeka road relay, with the runners of 4 Sigma/09, and yes we both(guys and girls) got first, but we never get our medal/trophies.
I got my first ever red marks on my report card.I joined squash, made friends, and had fun hitting the ball to the lights.
I get to know the bullet-est mouth guy, ever- Muhammad Nazrin bin Roslan :)
I got myself a job after finals, with the rest of the 4 Sigma's, at Sunway Pyramid.
I watched countless of free movies, and feeling very updated with movies, as I worked at tgv.
I felt appreciated helping my customers with their tickets. (I got a thank you note on a tissue handwritten from one of them, how sweet)
I had discounts eating at Papajohn, the place my friends work at.
I got my first scolding from a customer(some phillipino ladies) for printing wrong timings tickets but I've repeated all the details before printing.
I got complimented by a middle-aged couple on the first day of my work though!
I got my first scolding from my manager by having a 1 and a half hour of break(actual break is 30mins) as I went to my friend's surprise party.
I got closer and attached to a guy. ♥
I survived through 2009, thank God. (yes, by this I mean, I'm still alive)

Yes, those are stuff of last year, of course there are stuff that remained, and some changed.
But now's already May 2010. 1st May, Labour Day. :) Anyway, I suddenly have an urge to update my blog today. I wanted to list down everything I want, for now, in case I suddenly have a blank of mind. These things are supposed to motivate me to work towards it.

Wishlist May 2010:

1. Crocs flats.
Its comfortable, also fashionable. :)
2. Slippers like this.
So pretty, ain't it? Heart melts.
3. Cobra Hunter
4. Teddy handbag.
5. A Recycle Bag.
6. This camera.
Lomo Barbie Sweetheart waterproof camera.
7. A new Roxy purse.
I can't find the exact design I wanted online.

& Lastly,

8. A horse.

Ain't that hard to fulfil, no? :)

The Mall

Cameras are prohibited! *that's the sign outside of the shop*
One of the shops in The Mall, at God knows where is it.
Yeah I'm working for my aunt for two days, today and tomorrow.
On the way to The Mall, I played lego with my baby cousin. Played soo freaking lotsa time till she's satisfied. Here's our houses(mine is the 'twin towers' and hers is the small house in between LMAO) :

OH, I've forgotten to introduce my baby cousin which is a soon-to-be-camwhorer :P

the name, Lo Wan Yu
Ying: smile girl, smile!

:D my aunt delivered the products to this shop which I find it quite antique, maybe a tourist spot. They're selling a lot of handcrafts and malaysia stuff. Explored with lotsa sounds accompanying me when I walk the whole shop. A few steps and its the sound of dogs barking and then cats meow-ing and then birds chirping, you get what I mean.
Check these out:

The cat family. All eyes on me :P

These are adorable! PINOCCHIOS.
Don't tell lie kids, or your nose will grow long :)

elephants! longgg nose.
See what I meant?
Oh and if you're wondering why there are pictures in the shop when they clearly put the sign out there. I didn't see it, so I shouldn't be pled guilty :)
& the day ends with receipts sorting and counting.
There, Daphney! less words and more pictures!

Lotsa Bites, A Few Cuts, & Another Fall..

I’m just back from Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. T’was a family outing, at Titi Eco Farm Resort. It’s an organic farm, you see. I was just so excited to see my cousins again. I only get to see them like, twice a year? Anyway, it was a two days one night trip & we reached there at 5pm, which was 3 hours late! Haha speaking of punctuality.

We missed the kite flying session and bread making session :( First thing I realized when I reached there, MOSQUITOES! They do sell mosquitoes repellent, and I put on the lotion all over my legs like it’s the skin moisturizer.

Anyway, the first thing we saw is the gigantic slide. It is made out of cement. Made me think of the piano stairs hah. The slide got us addicted and we were all running up the stairs to slide over and over again, how crazy & how I wished there were water to splash around. The adults was listening to talks and the kids (yes, I’m still young) were exploring the whole place, playing and fooling around.

Fat boy sliding down!
Sliding down with the tip of your arse is the fastest :)

There were so many stuff. It’s like a gigantic playground with everything magnified. The slide, see-saw, monkey-bar were HUGE. Nevertheless, the sceneries are beautiful surrounded with nature despite those annoying blood sucking monster-mosquitoes. Everything was organic there. So, technically speaking, I breathed organic air, ate organic chickens, ate organic vegetables, drank organic tea, used organic shampoo, slept on organic bed, … :D
Fatty balancing himself :P
At night, we walked around the farm to catch a glimpse on fireflies. It disappoints us though, as there were only about three of them, unless you count the aeroplane. rofl.

The next day morning, I was waken up by 3 monsterous cousins. Today, we were brought to explore the farm. Ate flowers, yes, organic flowers & were briefed about all sorts of plants that can cure diseases. We fed the ostrich too. Organic ostrich that eats organic flower. Haha. Too bad there ain’t peacocks or I bet I would have plucked out a beautiful colourful organic peacock’s feather :) There were also jungle-trekking, which was really scary walking on one wood plank, with your annoying brother dancing around shaking the whole bridge wanting you to fall into the organic river full of organic fishes, and god knows if there were organic crocodiles or armadillo too. I walked the bridge twice and flew the flying-fox once, but none of the walking on one rope over the river. A great experience altogether.
Feeding the organic ostrich!
Jungle trekking.
Just before we went back, I chased the chickens to train their muscles. I’m doing a good karma yo :P and I got a cursed fall. A curse from Xin Rou where I never get to overcome it. How dumb it could be to fall from a slide, scrapping off your epidermis layer of your knees? Hmmm..
Here's the picture of the pretty rooster:
& we celebrated grandpa’s birthday :D Happy birthday, grandpa! We love you!
Part of the family :D
*Last day of exam in 2 days.
*Hoping to get more confirmed calls for jobs.
*Confirm the date to go over Singapore.
*Get more involved in Halloween Party and RCC Meeting's. Hah!

Loves.

Finals!

EXAMS!
Yeah, that is exactly how I look when I'm doing my papers. Lmao, seriously.
Today's Friday, a BREAK, finally, from one whole week of insane papers, I'm almost going crazy.
Let's see,
-Monday; Chemistry 2 & 3. Totally sucked. I can't really remember how it suck, but it was really hard. Don't believe? Ask the paper from me when I got back!

-Tuesday; BM 1, Add Math. Well,as you predicted. Yes, I didn't have enough time to finish my essay, just the last paragraph and 'pens down!' omgosh, I'm sure it'll affect my whole essay, I've been writing so well! Add Math was well.. brain-breaking.

-Wednesday; English 2, Sejarah 2. English 1 was pretty easy, luckily I read the literature part :) Sejarah..hmm...Some questions are leaked but others, I've no idea. =/

-Thursday; Physics 2, Math 2. Holy crap, this is my worst day. I thought Math was gonna be the first paper. Boyy I was so shocked to get a Math paper instead. I studied Math the whole night before and was late for school, planned to revise physics during recess. So, blanked super a lot. Mr Aru, don't kill me! :S

-Friday; TODAY; English 1, Biology 2. Almost couldn't manage to finish the essays. Its fortunate that I checked the time and sped up my writing, woah. Biology was a killer, I..honestly, do not know what I wrote. & Nazrin ditched this paper. How smart of him..

That's the whole week of exams, and I've been waiting for this day since the beginning of the week, badly wanting a break from all these ridiculousness of studies. Often, I will sleep like a dead person to escape from all of these. But for this finals, I turned my gear on and get bars of chocolates and cereals and cold full cream milks and soya to keep myself awake, but few exceptional attempts, I still doze off. Oh wellll,
I made a promise to myself..to study constantly after this finals. Hahah, Daphney, Poh Ming, join me ? :P
Las minute studying is a killer, it kills my sleeping time and I have serious panda eyes. But, sometimes you just gotta do something you never wanna do. Discipline, people. (sigh)

Paintballs after exams, aite? :D

Happy Birthday, Edwin Kok!

HAPPY SWEET 16TH, EDWIN KOK EE JAY!
Yes, I cropped the pic, but still with Damian's arse :P
Edwin Kok’s my primary school bud. I still remember the time we chased around just because of an accident(I kicked a stone). We never failed to tease each other. The daily routine was, every morning before class starts, we’ll chase around the whole school. Crazy huh? I was such a monkey, so is he :P Now, we’ve all grown up but you’re still the ever cheeky boy, telling such lame jokes that makes me laugh like mad.

Anyway, today, he had his party at his house. I went with Hui Qing, and we were..hmm..as usual, late.
Hahah, the 6E gang was there.
Edwin- the birthday boy
BoldPaul- the Leo guy
Ke Wei- the now thin but still chubby guy =D
Beh- the vampire guy
Zhi Yi- the sweet nice girl
Damian- the freaking poser/dancer
Kang Yi- the back from China super tall/small headed guy
Wai Yien- the pretty girl
Hui Qing- the best friend
& I.
It was an awesome gathering at Edwin’s party. Never did realize that I miss them so freaking much! We chatted about all sorts of stuff, catching up. From relationships to horror stories to lame jokes to camwhoring to basketball.. at the padang near his house. His other friends were all crazy to continuously watch the movie SAW 1 to 4, if I’m not mistaken lol. All I know is the man on that freaking bed that was killed by a saw, is freaking scary but smart. Moral of the movie- do not kill. Patience is A Vitue ;D

6E peeps! I’m missing you guys! Next gathering will be at T.G.I. F, John’s, around November okay? See you guys there.
Group photo. P/S Ke Wei's head's half.
Candid.

19th September

Malam seribu bintang. just realised how long we've not take any pictures :(
HAPPY SWEET SIXTEEN, KAREN :D
Happy belated sweet sixteen! I didn't get to use the comp, till now. So sorry ;)
Anyway, that girl in white is one of my bestest friends! She is Karen Wan Siew Lee.

She annoys me with her singing. She sings the whole day, non-stop, no joke. She lets go off her dog, Rocky, to chase me. She used to jog with me, along with Sue Ee, when I was still at the SS18 house. We used to go Sunway Pyramid very often last year, after school, when we were in the same class :) Now, things had slightly changed as we're in different class, but I'm sure our friendship does not change. You're always there for me when I needed you. You're always the strong one and the straightforward one. Girl, HAPPY SWEET SIXTEEN! We're gonna celebrate right after exam okay.

Also, today is Rachel Priya's party.

I was kinda pissed waiting for my brother to fetch me over to Poh's house. I reached her house at 6.30pm, instead of 5pm. Supposed to curl my hair, do our make-ups, and change at her house. & Just when I reached her place, her dad's there to bring us to 3K, where the party was held. (panic) We ran to the swimming pool and asked the lifeguard for us to use the ladies. The lifeguard was nice :) I changed and hurry out, we went to A&W's toilet and did our make-ups there, as well as camwhores.

Look at this girl, the concealer below her eyes ROFL

Notice why Poh's moving? the lady in the toilet is about to come out! busted XD

We spent 1 hour in the toilet and just when we realised the time, it was 7.30pm already. We ran over to 3K Complex Hall under the drizzles. We hurried over to wish Rachel and passed her the present. You should look at her, she looks gorgeous, just like a princess (: with a tiara and she was super duper shiny :D We had awesome pedas food with drink mixtures of milk, orange, mango? After eating, we played Truth or Dare. The first dare was to taste John's Gasby. eww.. bitter chewing gum? Then, there were some performances. Rachel's lil brother did beat-box and he described Rachel in one word- 'beautiful', without a doubt. Aww..So sweet right? After that, we had dancefloor till late night ;D

Poh Ming: John looks stupid.
John: You say that again!

HAHAHA

The 4 Sigmas' :)
[Up: Leon, Kitt Mun, Poh Ming Down: Ying, AlvinW, John, SueLi, HueyYann]

The whole insane crowd.

Dancefloor babe.
Awesome party. Had fun and sweat. Hahah, great party, Rachel! ♥
